Have you been to the Fourth of July parade in Pequot Lakes? It’s like none other! Perhaps sampling our famous beans while listening to live music gets your juices flowing. Then don’t miss Bean Hole Days. Pequot Lakes is the “go to” community in July in the lakes area. Stars & Stripes Days annually on July 3rd & 4th celebrates our nation’s independence with food vendors, music, games, fireworks and much more. If you’re in town in mid-July, there will be craft vendors, music, beans…and more beans at Bean Hole Days. These festivals celebrate what it is to be in the lakes area in the summer!
And Pequot Lakes is right on the Paul Bunyan Trail, 123 miles of paved trail stretching from Brainerd to Bemidji. Pequot Lakes sits just 25 miles from the southern tip of the trail that carries you through some of the most beautiful wooded scenery in the world.
