ReStore Assistant


Job description

 The Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a retail store that sells new and used building materials and furniture. All items are donated and the proceeds go to support the mission of Habitat for Humanity. If you want to make a difference in your community and enjoy meeting new people, then this is a great opportunity for you.

Primary Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Help load/unload vehicles.
  • Help move priced items out onto the sales floor.
  • Move sold items to receiving area.
  • Greet and assist customers on the sales floor.

Job Expectations

  • Able to work Tuesday – Saturday
  • 8 hours day shift
  • Excellent work attendance.
  • Able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to multi-task.
  • Able to delegate.
  • Self-motivated and identify tasks that need to be completed.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Must wear gloves and steel toed shoes.
  • Knowledge of building materials (preferred).
