Supplier Development Administrator

Salary Range:

Candidates may be considered for a I , II or III level position depending on qualifications and experience. Salary is commensurate with position and experience.

  • Supplier Development Administrator I: $62,770.39 - $87,878.56

  • Supplier Development Administrator II: $71,865.82 - $ 100,612.15

  • Supplier Development Administrator III: $88,038.73 - $ 123,254.21


These are remote positions, allowing you to work from your home office, and are subject to Sourcewell's telecommuting policies and procedures. 

On occasion: 

  • There may be in-frequent travel with multiple overnight stays, or,

  • a request to visit Sourcewell's Headquarter's in Staples, MN.

What can I expect?

This position administers the supplier relationship for assigned contracts to ensure organization embracement, sales growth and contract success.

Required Qualifications

*  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Sales, Marketing or related field of study OR

*  A combination of related post-secondary and/or professional education and demonstrated relevant work experience with vendor management, sales, sales training or other closely related fields equivalent to a total of 4 years.

*  Demonstrated effective communication, presentation, and training skills

Preferred Qualifications

*  Minimum of two years of experience in vendor management, sales, or sales training in a business to business capacity

*  Minimum of two years of experience working in a Group Purchasing organization

*  Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems

*  Any of the following related certifications CPCM (Certified Professional Contracts Manager), CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), CPPB (Certified Professional Public Buyer), CPP (Certified Purchasing Professional

In addition to the above, for the Supplier Development Administrator II position:

*  Five years of experience in advanced sales and marketing management

*  Experience in public procurement and/or government contracting

In addition to the above, for the Supplier Development Administrator III position:

*  Ten years of experience in advanced sales and marketing management

*  Experience in public procurement and/or government contracting
