Description

Where can you meet a horse, compare the effects of rainfall on different soil covers, and visit and shop with over 35 vendors and exhibitors all focused on sustainable living? The Back to Basics Spring Fair to be held outdoors at the new Lakes Music and Events Park in Pine River! 

Vendors, mini-workshops & family activities will be featured from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at this free event. Special guests include our "Turtle" mascot, Wondertrek Children's Museum (offering interactive play), and Soulful Horse.

There is no charge to attend the event and no registration required.

Schedule of Events Vendor/Exhibitor booths: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Babinski Foundation's pet adoption event: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Nature Storytime (with a craft): 10:30, 11:30, 12:30 & 1:30.

11 a.m. Rain Garden Design Using Native Plants with Ross Brink 

12 p.m. Building Soil Health in Your Field or Garden with Jim Chamberlin 

1 p.m. Rainfall Simulator/Conservation Assistance Opportunities with the Natural Resource Conservation Service

 2 p.m. The Importance of Outside Play with Kim Norman
