Is your business prepared for a weather disaster? Learn the secrets of weather forecasting from National Weather Service meteorologist Joe Moore so you can better understand the weather forecast and how to prepare your business and your staff for different weather hazards. You’ll learn how to interpret weather forecast probabilities, the difference between the weather forecast you see on TV and any given app, and even a crash course in how to interpret weather radar. In addition to severe thunderstorm hazards like tornadoes and flash floods, the talk will also highlight other common summer weather hazards including extreme heat and air quality. You’ll learn how to be more weather-aware when making decisions, and factors you should consider in your safety plans.
