Business After Hours - Explore Brainerd Lakes Welcome Center

Last year more than 150,000 travelers visited the Chamber's Welcome Center on Hwy 371. When was the last time you stopped in? Gather your 'team' and help us kick off the summer tourism season by attending a special Business After Hours, hosted by your very own Brainerd Lakes Chamber!

Meet the team behind Explore Brainerd Lakes! Find out how we promote travel, connect visitors with member businesses, and are an informational resource hub for the Lakes Area.

What makes the BLA so special? Why are family vacations changing? How does the Chamber support our regional tourism economy?

Join Chamber Board Chair Frank Soukup (Grand View Lodge), David Spizzo (Breezy Point Resort) and Mike Schwieters (Boyd Lodge) as they tackle these topics and many more. Also enjoy fun networking, complimentary appetizers (duck wontons, pork belly on a stick and chips with smoked queso) catered by Pit Happens, beverages (beer, seltzer and water), and 20% off all merchandise at the newly reimagined Explore Brainerd Lakes Gift Shop!

Guests are encouraged to stay until the end for a chance to win fabulous prizes provided by the host and attendees!

Event Schedule
4:30-5:20 PM: Network, shopping, appetizers and beverages
5:20-5:30 PM: Introductions
5:30-5:50 PM: Host interview
5:50-6:00 PM: Drawings for door prizes (must be present to win)

Everyone is invited to learn more about the Chamber and gain exposure for their business by attending this free networking event. Business After Hours attendees pass the microphone and introduce themselves to the group, so bring your business cards and get ready to network! Attendees are also encouraged to bring door prizes.

The Explore Brainerd Lakes Gift Shop is located in the Welcome Center on Hwy 371 which is the gateway to the beautiful Brainerd Lakes Area! Friendly Chamber staff greet thousands of visitors to the area to answer questions, assist with their travel needs and purchase the one-of-a-kind souvenirs. Explore Brainerd Lakes also offers online service to travelers and provides lead generation to the Brainerd Lakes Chamber members.
