SNARKTOBERFEST

Description

Our favorite celebration is around the corner, OKTOBERFEST.  This year September 24 from 11am-10pm (every year it is the 4th Saturday of September).  Our 2nd Snarktoberfest is sure to be bigger and better. Wearing your Lederhosen and Dirndls is not required but strongly encouraged.

What to expect this year:

11 German beers and a popular return

Marzen, Kolsch, Krystalweizen, Radler, Rye not, What the…?, Penetrator, Nobel Pils, Smokefest, Dunkel lager, and Sticky Nuts

Authentic German food menu

Sauerbraten and Spatzle- Pot roast with a zing of pickling spices from the marinade.  The sweetness of the brown gravy balances everything. Served with traditional dumpling pasta (from Oma’s German bakery) and a hard roll.

Currywurst and Potato Salad- Grilled bratwurst cut into bite sized chunks. Topped with a tomato-based sauce seasoned with curry and other spices.  Comes with warm traditional potato salad and a hard roll.

Kielbasa Cabbage Soup- Hearty chunks of smoked sausage, potatoes, bacon, spices and more in a thin broth.

Giant Pretzel- Our steering wheel sized warm pretzel. Served with our very own beer cheese sauce and whole grain mustard.

Black Forest Cake- Layers of chocolate sponge cake sandwiched with creamy frosting and a rich cherry filling.  From Oma’s German bakery.
